Grey Spray Paint XTR Colours - 150 ml

The Grey spray paint from XTR Colours is specifically formulated for polycarbonate bodies of RC cars. If you are looking for a vivid, eye-catching finish with that fluorescent effect that stands out on the track, this is the paint for you.

Body preparation

Before painting, cut out the body and sand the cut edges for a clean finish. If your body has an outer transparent protective film, do not remove it until the paint is completely dry. Cover all areas you do not want to paint with tape or masking film. Make sure the surface is clean, dry and dust-free before you start.

If you are combining colours, always paint dark colours before light colours to prevent the more intense tones from showing through the lighter ones.

For best results

• Shake the can vigorously for 2 minutes until you hear the mixing ball.
• Spray from a distance of 20 to 30 cm with crosswise, even movements.
• Always apply very thin coats. Never one thick coat.
• The optimal result is achieved with 2 to 3 coats, waiting 5 minutes between each.
• Leave to dry for 5 minutes before removing the tape or masking film.
• After use, turn the can upside down and spray for 2 seconds to clean the nozzle.

Specific instructions for fluorescent colours

Fluorescent colours require a special application technique to achieve the maximum effect:

• Apply only very light coats: fluorescents cover less than conventional colours.
• Use this spray only at temperatures above 15 °C.
• Spray from a distance of 15 to 20 cm.
• Leave to dry for 30 minutes and then apply a coat of white XTR Colours as a base. This step is essential to achieve the desired fluorescent effect.
