Procircuit Claymore v2 (Tires) (2)

This is a pair of the new Procircuit Claymore V2. They are part of the new 1/8TT tire range developed by Procircuit's R&D department and tested by some of the best international drivers. Just like its predecessor, this tire is in high demand among all drivers on our official team. It is an evolution or combination of the Square Impact and the Hot Dices, two designs widely used by drivers around the world. It was decided to combine them using the lug pattern of the Square Impact, but slightly larger—without reaching the size of the Hot Dices—to fill the gap between both models. It offers excellent grip and speed, performing exceptionally well on especially demanding tracks. Moreover, thanks to the closer spacing of the lugs, the tire’s lifespan has been significantly increased.

"S" Compound:

Procircuit’s S compounds have been developed for slippery surfaces—conditions where the C compounds might lack a bit of grip. With the S compounds, we’ve achieved greater lateral traction, longer durability, and since they’re less elastic than the C compounds, they produce less centrifugal expansion at full throttle.

Clay "K" Compound:

Procircuit’s K1 and K2 clay compounds deliver maximum efficiency and grip on indoor clay tracks, oiled racing lines, moist dirt tracks, and even hybrid tracks that include synthetic surfaces like carpet, artificial grass, concrete, slick corners, or cobblestones.

These new “K” compounds behave differently compared to the typical “S” compounds. While C or S compounds depend on temperature and circuit grip levels, the performance of the K compounds mostly relies on the track’s grip level and surface type. Additionally, their lower elasticity helps reduce tire ballooning at high speeds.

Gluing Recommendation:

C and K compounds: Clean the bonding area with a clean cloth and brake cleaner. Then, using another clean cloth, clean again with Procircuit Green Tire Cleaner (reference PC0015). Use a new bottle of Procircuit Tire Glue Cyanoacrylate to ensure a perfect and durable bond (reference PC0012).

S compounds: Simply sand the rubber; cleaning is not necessary. Use a new bottle of Procircuit Tire Glue Cyanoacrylate to ensure a perfect and durable bond (reference PC0012).
