Ultimate Racing Optional Steering Link Mounts for Mugen MBX8r

These front steering link mounts (plates) were designed and tested by the Kilic family, specifically for the Mugen MBX8/8R uprights (buggy and truggy).

This part allows for a 4mm reduction in bumpsteer (height difference between the upright and the Ackerman) compared to the stock position, improving steering response. Made from high-strength 7075 aluminum and anodized in grey with the Ultimate logo. Each mount features laser-engraved R/L letters for quick position identification.

With this option, you achieve more steering under braking (when the front suspension is compressed) and a more linear steering feel when accelerating, coasting, or braking.

Features and Settings:

The mount offers 3 positions for the link, replacing the two original Mugen parts (E2153 and E2168) and adding an extra position:

• Inner position: Ideal for low grip situations, allows for more corner entry steering.
• Outer position: For high grip tracks, reduces corner entry aggression.

If a different bumpsteer setting is desired, the height can be adjusted using ULTIMATE washers: 0.5mm (UR1504), 1mm (UR1505), or 2mm (UR1506), to match the standard Mugen spacing.
