The Hobbywing XeRun XR10 Pro WP (part number 30112618) is the waterproof version of the XR10 Pro ESC. It is a 160 A continuous / 1200 A peak sensored brushless ESC for 2S LiPo which, according to the manufacturer, features a waterproof and dustproof design that exceeds the IP67 industrial standard, ready to race in rain, dust or sand. Hobbywing warns that it must not be submerged, as damage may occur.

Based on the XR10 Pro platform, it offers strong output capability and is suitable for Modified and Stock racing in 1/10 on-road and off-road: touring cars, buggy, drift, F1 and rally. Its 32-bit M4 processor improves response speed and calculation accuracy, and allows the throttle curve to be adjusted from -10 to +10 or customised. Maximum brake force can be set between 101% and 150%, designed for the tall gear ratios commonly used in Stock/Spec classes.

The built-in switch-mode BEC is adjustable from 5 to 7.4 V in 0.1 V steps for high-voltage servos. It includes reverse polarity protection and a smart start/stop fan. With the OTA module and the HW Link V2 app you can tune the ESC, upgrade the firmware and view throttle, voltage, temperatures and RPM in real time, as well as save logs to analyse after the run.

Can I use the XR10 Pro WP in wet conditions?

Yes. It is designed for rain, dust and sand with IP67 protection, but the manufacturer states that it must not be submerged.

Which motors does the XR10 Pro WP support?

Does the reverse polarity protection protect the whole system?
